Fried Oysters
Ingredients
Fresh oysters
shucked
Dry tempera mix
Oil for frying
Salt and pepper
Instructions
Heat oil to 375 degrees F.
After shucking oysters, sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Toss the oysters in dry tempera mix (not prepared, just the dry mixture). Shake to remove extra mixture.
Fry in hot oil until browned, and cooked through.
