Pour the beer into a two-quart saucepan. Add in the celery seeds, garlic, and black peppercorns. Bring to a boil.

Add in the shrimp all at once, and bring to a full boil again, and boil for a full two minutes.

Remove from heat and cover. Shake the pot a few times as the temperature cools and the shrimp cooks and steeps in the liquid.

Once the shrimp tests done, drain and serve.
