1 28-ozcan tomatoesblended with juice in a blender
About 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
3 to 4garlic cloveschopped
Pinchof sugar
Salt to taste
Instructions
In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add in the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Do not let the garlic brown or the sauce may be bitter.
Add in the tomatoes, pinch of sugar, and salt to taste. Increase heat and let the mixture come to a boil stirring frequently. Reduce heat and simmer sauce for about 15 minutes, stirring frequently. Sauce with thicken slightly during cooking.
