Smoked Salmon Poke with Dynamite Sauce and Taro Chips
Ingredients
Smoked salmonchopped up, as needed
Garnish: sliced pickled gingerblack sesame seeds
Poke Sauce
1/2cupsoy sauce
2tablespoonsgreen onionschopped
1tablespoonsesame oil
1tablespoontoasted sesame seeds
1tablespoonchopped unsalted and lightly toasted macadamia nuts
1 to 2teaspoonsfresh chopped jalapeno chile
1teaspoongrated ginger
Dynamite Sauce
1cupreal mayonnaise
1 to 2teaspoonsVietnamese chile sauce
1 to 2teaspoonssugar
A few drops of sesame oil for flavor
Taro Chips
Tarocleaned, peeled, thinly sliced
Oil for frying
Saltfor sprinkling
Instructions
Poke Sauce: Mix all ingredients together
Dynamite Sauce: Mix all ingredients together.
Taro Chips: Fry taro slices in hot oil. Sprinkle with salt. Keep covered until ready to use.
Smoke Salmon Poke
Mix desired amount of smoked salmon with poke sauce to taste. Top each taro chip with a small spoonful of smoked salmon poke. Drizzle some dynamite sauce over the top, and garnish with black sesame seeds and pickled ginger.
