Crispy Rainbow Trout

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • Pepper
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 6 dressed trout plate sized
  • Oil for pan frying

Instructions

  1. Mix the milk, salt, and pepper together. In a separate dish, combine the flour, cornmeal, and paprika together. Dip the fish in the milk mixture, lift to drain excess, and then turn to coat in the cornmeal mixture. Fry in hot oil about 5 minutes each side until done. Place on paper towels to drain excess oil, and serve hot. Repeat with remaining trout.
